Yes, Lexdot is free for all users, and we do not have any limits on listings and requests. As an online marketplace created primarily to enable users to find, hire and collaborate with legal services providers, we reserve the right to delete any posting that is not in compliance with our Terms and Conditions

Lexdot is not a law firm and does not provide  legal services. Lexdot makes it easier, cheaper and faster for businesses to find and hire legal help solely based on their preferences. Lexdot puts law services and legal professionals at the same level of access. We are focused only on access to legal solutions and direct access to the industry professionals. Lexdot is an interactive platform open to all users from anywhere in the world. Everyone is welcome to join Lexdot.

Businesses and individuals with legal projects or jobs can join Lexdot for free. We work together to make sure no project is out of reach. We just need verifiable information so we can contact you if we have to. We also would like you to complete your profile to enable us to match you with the right talent. We require only such information that can be made available to the public. What you share with your lawyer is up to you.

Yes, you’ll need to either sign in to your account or create an account if you don’t have one, to post your project or communicate with a legal service provider on Lexdot. You’ll then be able to track and manage all your project delivery and confirm the receipt and satisfaction.

Our goal is to provide a safe environment for both talent and clients. We want to ensure that Lexdot remains a professional, secure marketplace that clients and providers can trust.

It’s free to join and post your job request or project on the platform. You can post multiple projects and expect proposalsa from the professionals.

The lawyers on Lexdot are vetted. Before approving lawyers and legal service providers, Lexdot also confirms that the professional is qualified and in good standing (without any apparent issues). Once active on Lexdot, we hold the professionals to strict service level standards. We also ask the clients to review their service provider upon completion of a project.

While conventional legal marketplaces may offer access to unvalidated applications, our curated marketplace goes further, with applications being vetted by our admin team. On application, we rquire that lawyers and legal service providers provide verification information. We carefully verify the accuracy of the data found on the regulatory body with what appears on their Lexdot profile. We continue to monitor this information. This process ensures that clients would work with a professional in good standing in their area of focus.

Some jurisdictions require professionals to have indemnity insurance. The legal service providers and lawyers on Lexdot are independent contractors from diverse jurisdictions. We encourage all legal service providers to have liability insurance coverage that will protect them from bearing the financial burden of a lawsuit or other claims. A client also has the choice to make this a requirement. However, Lexdot doe not provide liability coverage for legal service providers.

In a nutshell, a client makes the payment into our wallet system when he accepts a proposal. The money will be shown in the Pending Balance section of the service provider’s account, less our service fee. When the project is completed and approved by the client, the payment becomes available to the service provider through his preferred means.

We currently use Woocommerce as our payment gateway. It supports most payment methods, including Paystack. We are working to include other payment gateways soon.

A client can mark a job or project completed by going to their Ongoing Jobs section of the Dashboard and clicking the View Details button to go to the job history page. Then click View History, and you will see the history page where you can select Completed.

We take data security and confidentiality seriously. We follow the guiding principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Data on our website is secure and encrypted. Our access is limited to the information you provide during the registration process and your public profile. We do not disclose your information to any third party without your consent. We request that you not post private, personal or sensitive information while adding your request or service on the platform. To comply with Privacy Laws, we maintain a culture of continuous privacy compliance.
